First Anniversary of AMV foundation Thank you so very much for all your support
Dear all,
July 2004 marks the first year of AMV’s crucial work of bridging the gap between all communities. I would like to thank all of you for helping us send our message to our fellow Americans.
It has been a year full of challenges, reaching out to bridge the gaps between communities, building true coalitions, rallies, press conferences, demonstrations, forums and conventions.
Although, it has been a year of shattered dreams and many disappointments yet along the way some miracles happened.
I have found some of the best activists and their support, some of the most sincere people to work with, some of the fair journalists for their unbiased reporting and some of the finest human beings who have become true friends.
Our struggle continues for a peaceful just world and we have to keep our dreams and hopes alive for protecting civil liberties, constitutional rights and justice for all.
By fighting against injustice and demanding to stop targeting the Muslims, Arabs and South Asians, by demanding to bring our troops home and demanding peace in our country, we are the true patriots of our nation.
From the bottom of my heart I thank all of my fellow Americans for their support and strength. Together we can make a positive difference. We can make the most beautiful diverse human wall of support and strength for each other, one that can't be shaken.
Please visit our website www.amuslimvoice.org to join our efforts in bridging the gap between all of us. Check our projects and campaigns.
Let us get to know each other even better in coming years and continue to fight for our freedoms and rights.
Working with all of you has been enlightening and a learning experience.
Thank You.
