American Muslim Voice offers deep condolences to Mr. Adeel Iqbal, a Member of the AMV Board of Directors, on the sad demise of his uncle Safdar Iqbal, aunty Zebina Iqbal and cousin Saad Iqbad who perished in the devastating earthquake that hit Islamabad and other towns in northern Pakistan on October 8.

Mr. Safdar Iqbal and his family were living in one of the two Marghala Towers which collapsed in the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that claimed about 40,000 lives while another 50,000 people were injured and 3.5 million people became homeless.

The AMV offers its condolences to Mr. Adeel Iqbal and his family on this tragedy and prays for the departed soles that God Almighty rest them in peace and gives patience to the deceased’s family to bear this great tragedy.

Mr. Safdar Iqbal is survived by his mother, three sisters and two brothers.
