AMV offers deepest condolences on the passing away of Pope John Paul II
(SAN FRANCISCO, CA, 4/2/05) - American Muslim Voice, a grass roots, national organization dedicated to protecting civil rights through community building offered condolences today on the death of Pope John Paul II. The AMV group operates to promote justice and peace by uniting communities of different races, ethnicities, and religions - an ideology often reflected by the Pope himself through his various discussions on inter-faith dialogue and the resultant improvement in civic life.
In a statement AMV said: "The loss of the Pope is a tragic event with far reaching consequences worldwide. We the members of AMV send our deepest condolences out to all members of the Roman Catholic Church.
