Puppets and Prayers for Peace to Mark the Third Year of War
Clarence the Camel puppet, prayers from diverse faith traditions, 1,000 origami cranes, lively singing and story-telling will fill this uplifting interfaith and family oriented gathering.
What: Inter generational Multifaith Service for Peace
When: Saturday, March 18 2006 Time: 11:00 AM
Where: All Saints' Episcopal Church, 555 Waverley in Palo Alto, CA.
Who: Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Roman Catholics, Protestants, Quakers, Unitarian Universalists and others will join to recommit prayers and lives to peace, understanding and justice. Photos of Iraqi families and children, taken by a member of the Christian Peacemaking Team in Baghdad, will add to the service.
Children are welcome. Open to everyone - all ages and all faith.
