Youth vision of creating a culture of peace,
 acceptance,  mutual respect
 and harmony in our world

Dear all,

American Muslim Voice and Amnesty International USA will hold  “Ambassadors of the World: The Annual Youth Conference” on Sept. 17, 2005  at the Chandni Restaurant in Newark, CA.  If you are unable to attend this conference  but would like to be a part of this movement  to creating a culture of peace, acceptance, mutual respect and harmony in our world. You can share your vision, hopes and dreams with us about the future of our world.

Here is how?

1: Your vision of peace and a peaceful world.

2: Your ideas of achieving that vision. (ongoing activities, interfaith/intercultural discussions, social gatherings, movies, pizza parties, joint day trips, summer camps, workshops or serving community needs to gather.)  AMV and AI-USA are very committed to provide a platform for you to take the leadership role.

3: Please join "Ambassadors of the World" yahoo discussion group.

4: AMV and AI-USA are very committed to provide a platform for you to take the leadership role. So please let us know what kind of support we (adults) can provide for you to work towards creating a culture of peace, acceptance, mutual respect and harmony.

5: Please include your name, grade, school and affiliation with any youth group, faith group or an organization.

Your essays will be published and posted on our websites. Please email your personal visions to amvoice@amuslimvoice.org Or clipp@aiusa.org

Thanks,

Samina Faheem Sundan,
AMV Executive Director.

PS: To ensure the quality and the success of this program we are encouraging all who are concerned about the future of our next generation to join hands with us in this partnership. We need adult participation to support our kids.

Together, we can make a difference for our next generations. A harmonious and peaceful world is possible, where all of us feel at home.

About American Muslim Voice: We are a grassroots, nonviolent, inclusive, civil, immigrant and human rights organization building alliances and genuine partnership with like minded groups and individuals to protect and preserve civil liberties and constitutional rights for ALL.
